Pandemic erosion of empathy (violence in media, gaming, politics)...
Callous objectification of fellow countrymen/women/children (visual/print/political media, print/online pornography)...
INTENTIONAL diminishment and outright denial that life has value and purpose: b/c we are created by GOD in the image of God ('no' to 10 Commandments, scouring all trace of God in public square, schools, political platforms, ABORTION 'rights', partial birth abortion)...
All are in play here.
Eliminating legal gun ownership will have NO EFFECT, except to soothe our collective sense of responsibility for the state of our culture -- no effect.
May God help us - our culture WILL. NOT. CHANGE.
UNLESS and UNTIL we address, not our 'gun' problem, but our SPIRITUAL problem.
