Tiptoe through the tulips...

Hmmm friends...looks like Spring outside!

Think I'll go out & look...

azalea, scilla, & hosta peeping through...

and a closer look...

Wow! Hollyhocks.

are these even real?

one of my favorites - Old Fashioned garden phlox.

...a beautiful purple variety from my Grandmother's garden.
Stunning in real life, friends!

And everybody's favorite - peonies!

Take a few minutes friends, & go tiptoe through your own "tulips."
If you don't have any, your Lowe's or Home Depot is probably just around the corner...
I couldn't live without mine!

Wow! My peonies haven't even blossomed yet. Wonderful to be surrounded by flowers and color.

Hi ladies! Thanks for stopping by!

BetteJo~ Wonderful, indeed; the glory of God everywhere every day! As my Grandmother used to say to me, "It's my therapy." ;)

Duta~ Thanks! The hollyhocks are sassy, alright. I planted 2 pots of them a few years ago. They reseed themselves & keep popping up in the funniest places. ;) The secretary @ our Elementary school is the one who said, "these don't even look real!" And she's kinda right. ;)

LOVE LOVE LOVE the flowers and your home!
What are those gorgeous blue flowers in front of the azaleas in the top pix? I am nuts for blue flowers xx

Z! The blue flower in question is 'scilla,' which is grown from a bulb, is perennial & multiplies on its own. Can't get any better than that!!

I also have a variety of columbine which is called 'blue,' though it's really a tad more purple than true blue. Also, you may know how to get hydrangeas to turn blue - aluminum sulfate top-dressed or watered into the soil every 2 weeks before & during bloom. Voila - blue hydrangea!! (Want pink? water in Lime instead.)

Wonderful looking. Better smelling am guessing.

I just noticed you had the names there..sorry! But, I'm glad to know about this Scilla..I LOVE THAT COLOR.
I'd have to spank any hands which would want to change blue hydrangeas pink! And I've heard putting iron nails around a plant will change that color, tho "WHY?!" :-)
I loved that you had the same scripture in your mind that I did on that blog post and thank you for coming by
