MY hometown Tea Party Protester PUNCHED!

(...and btw, it's all GWB's fault!!)

Folks, it doesn't get any closer to me than if I had been there myself.
Saw this on Fox & Friends this morning:

My ears perked when I heard "North Carolina;" & I remind myself to research it. I go to my email & find this news story in a bundle from my local GOP headquarters folks. (Link gives much more info. than FNC video.)

Then I realize - these are MY people! I KNOW Nathan Tabor! I also know some of the others in the video. I have sat on their picnic blankets @ Tea Parties. They are not extremists. They are not the 'fringe Right.' They are average citizens (moms, dads, business owners, farmers, librarians) of my county who are not taking the G'ment steamroller lying down.

Bravo to Mr. Tabor! Bravo to the rest who are exercising our right to speak out against the over-reach of G'ment.
If not now, than never, friends. Do NOT remain silent!

The fight for our nation doesn't get any closer than this.

Peace and Love man, that's what it's all about. I'll be looking for this footage on MSNBC... NOT!!!!!!!

That Fox, you know, they are so biased showing this thug beating up one of those mean old Tea Party protesters. If anyone thinks that beating back liberalism will be violence free, they have another thing coming.

This is proof that there's nothing peaceful about telling thugs that you don't think that they should have first dibs on your pay-check.

OK I stop now.

Unfortunately, as the election get closer and the polls show just how many dems are going to lose, it will get worse.

I wouldn't be surprised if the dems and their stooges escalate more. It's going to get dangerous before it's all over. Maybe not even then.

I like how FOX calls him a liberal on the headline. I also like how a one of the commentators are trying to make it seem like a big violent attack on the protestors but it just one guy punching another. I especially love how Nathan Tabor CLEARLY hides behind his wife and I love even more how the other idiot FOX commentator says he was protecting his wife when she was protecting him. Good Job all around!

Of coarse, Fox is full of idiots, Tabor is a coward, and a liberal punching a conservative in the face is no big deal; after all, it's not like it was a conservative punching a liberal like we have been warned by the non-idiot and unbiased-hee hee hee-news sources to expect from Tea Partiers.

After all this IS an angry white guy, he deserved it, right? This is so rich.

Looks like the guy furthest from the camera took a swing (and missed) first to me.

However the guy who landed his punch was clearly being an obnoxious and violent d**k because you can tell (and this fits with what you said, Susannah) that the guy who got hit (Nathan) isn't the violent sort. It's very obvious, even from the few seconds that this clip shows that he's a non-violent guy.

So the puncher must have really been riling him up to get him to swing wildly like that (if that is indeed what happened, it's kind of hard to see).

If only George W. Bush hadn't invaded Iraq, none of this would have happened..... :) <---just for you, Susannah.

Dan~ You da man!!!
"This is proof that there's nothing peaceful about telling thugs that you don't think that they should have first dibs on your pay-check."

Crucis~ See quote above...this is what I'm a bit afraid of...though it's a battle that MUST be won.

jPort~ get a job

Dan~ You summed it up just like our friend above would like it...ha!

Matt~ You've assessed correctly. I'll have to go back & take another look for the guy you say swung & missed...

The thing that makes me most irritated (other than the scary, unprovoked altercation), is what the 'attacker's' lawyer said about Tabor -- something about how 'he'll find out that being wealthy won't matter in court'

What the h#!!? 'Rhetoric' like THAT is what incites people. It's b*llsh*t like THAT that fans the embers of the class-war Hussein Obama is so desperate to ignite.

And note jP, who needs a job, Fox news (national & affiliate) posted that stupid ambulance chaser's words for all to read, at the end of the story -- as if that's the final word. It's what you might say was a 'good job.'

Okay, so now I'll breathe, & laugh just a little @ Matt's final comment. I think you're teasing me, Matt...are you teasing me? ;)

Oh, my GOSH! But, doesn't the left always show SUCH tolerance for differing opinions? :-)
Dan, that's hilarious!

Mr. Tabor deserves a pat on the
back.

Hi Z! Nutty, isn't it? And if we think these things only happen in "other people's towns," well...

C&L~ I agree. I'll tell him you said so if ever I see him @ a FCGOP function. Thanks for stopping by. ;)

Fuzz~ I hear Mr. Glock makes a fairly strong first impression. Just glad he wasn't called into action on either side...
