Having waited patiently for days on end...

and changed outfits more than once...

Otis greets Santa Claus (not pictured)!!

And we heard him exclaim 'ere he drove out of sight,

"Happy Christmas to all; and to all a good night!"

Animals and children are the only ones who can see him, right? So nice of Otis to have dressed up for the occasion. :) Happy Day!

C&L! Great to see you today! Are you having a White Christmas like we are??? It's GORGEOUS here ~ Like Narnia! Just got home from High Point - a slow, careful drive home from the inlaws house. Cozy @ home on Christmas night. God is good; my soul knows it well...

BetteJo! Merry Christmas, love! Yes, Otis was rather dapper in this suit, no? ;)

Thanks for stopping by, friends~

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and you have an adorable dog. He reminds me of Eddie from Frasier, I loved that dog.

He is so cute!!!
Frasier would have been in a rage over the antlers!!!
Otis makes me want to pick him up and give him a big kiss!!!
Frasier was bad with his gifts, destroyed each and every one in 5 minutes and then stole his aunts toys and destroyed them too!
Do you notice a big differance between pilates and yoga?
I have never tried yoga because of the hindu angle! But I guess its what you fill in your mind that matters!
Sanata gave me dean karnazes-ultramarathon man for Christmas and I may need a new goal!!!Its a seed planted!
Are you on facebook?if you are email me at frasypoo at hotmail.com

What's his name. A friend lost his 14 year old terrier recently. Sad times.

Leticia~ We indeed had a 'magical' Christmas! Hope you did too! Otis' stocking was full of 'Snausages' & 'Pup-peroni.' Dog heaven! And yes, "Eddie" was a Jack Russell terrier. So is Otis, & his markings are reminiscent of Eddie's. ;)

Fras~ That's funny about Frasier! Otis just sits there, like, "What's the big deal?"

I L-O-V-E yoga! Pilates is good, & I really like it, but yoga is more fluid, more contemplative & more strenuous (imo). You & I are both Jesus-girls, so I understand your reservations re: the hindu angle...The thing is, God wants us to "Be still & know..." For me (& in the classes I teach), yoga is a way to strengthen my body while settling my mind & quieting my spirit. It's then - during my 'practice' - that I hear from the Holy Spirit. Scriptures & insights & come to my mind. But mostly, my spirit eases into a gentle peacefulness. I really don't believe that anything other than the Holy Spirit can accomplish that; not for me anyway.

People absolutely can get into the Hindu angle, depending on the teacher...but, if you just avoid that, it has tremendous physical & spiritual (i.e., Christian) benefits!

My husband is on facebook, but I'm not (yet). I have a HS friend who has been badgering me to get a page. It just seems like a lot of work... We'll see. You'll be one of the first I'll notify, if I do, though! ;)

Duck!! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! So glad you decided to come back.

Oh dear...we lost our first JRT to kidney disease 5 years ago. Her name was Tucker & she was 12. She was our first 'child,' so losing her was really sad. So sorry about your friend's loss...

For several months, I couldn't think about getting another dog, but we did research, & got Otis about 8 months later. Yes, & Otis is his name - see his other pics on my right sidebar... (If your friend ever wants info. on breeders, I can give him some great names in the Southeast.)

Happy New Year all!
