Alan Keyes: Have people gone mad in this country?

Received this today via email from my Dad. The clip is from several months ago, but Dr. Keyes is right on! (Given our especially precarious fiscal situation currently, pay special attention to what he says from minute 3:17 to the end...)

Alan Keyes was a featured speaker at a fundraiser for the Triple A Crisis Pregnancy Center in Hastings, Nebraska, on February 19, 2009, where a reporter from KHAS-TV interviewed him about his thoughts on Obama.

With conviction, Alan firmly stated that Obama is a radical communist (which he is) and a usurper (which he has done since he hasn't produced an original birth certificate). And that Obama supports infanticide--the killing of babies born alive after botched abortions.

The story was later picked up by Keith Olberman of MSNBC who spent time on the show calling Alan Keyes names in order to diminish the importance of what Alan said. Alan must have hit a nerve. Go Alan! Sign the Pledge for America's Revival at http://www.americasrevival.com/pledge.php

BTW, thanks Dad!

It Just Doesn't Make Any Sense said...

Look, lets look at it this way.. Barack Obama’s poll numbers will really plummet if he decides “to take off the gloves.” and push his heathcare plan down our mouths. The American middle-of-the-road voters are not interested in seeing Obama become more aggressive and mean spirited. They are instead staring to worry that he lacks the intellectual competence to handle the responsibilities of the presidency. Many of us have long known that Obama is an empty suit. The rest of the country is now realizing it.

In response to the above quote:

I voted for Obama, and I truly regret it. I'm a moderate, like many others I know, and he put a blind over our eyes.

I wish most of America didn't vote at all last election. Bunch of damned idiots. I know I was.

I've been to an Alan Keyes seminar a while ago.

While the video is good, it does no justice to what a wonderful speaker Dr. Keyes truly is.

obama will continue to suffer in the polls regardless of what he does. At this point, it's moot.

First time I saw Alan Keyes he was saying some pretty outlandish things. But lately, scarily enough - he is totally right!

Sense~ Let's hope they're realizing it...trouble is, he is more than just an empty suit. He's far more engaged in his agenda, committed to it & determined to foist it on our country. We're starting to see what lengths he'll go to - demonizing average citizens who dare to oppose & speak up...How dare he...

JT~ Thank you for your candor. Please join us in fighting this fight before too much damage is done. Oh, & thanks for the follow!

bluepit! I would LOVE to see Dr. Keyes in person. I'll bet he fires up a room. Curious, though; what do you mean the point is moot?

Janie~ Thanks for coming by! I hear what you're saying about Dr. Keyes (things he has said in the past). Ironically, I was thinking he was right all along. People just didn't want to believe it. Now look where we are...

btw, Janie, went to your blog & loved it! I tried real hard to leave a comment, but the comment mechanism wouldn't give me a screen to do it...

A not-so-tongue-in-cheek answer to the blog title would be YES, they have. ;-)

Unfortunately the dropping in the polls have no effect on the fact that the man is in the office.... so now what? That's the part that really sticks it to me - and probably more so for the folks who did vote for him and are now not happy with what's happening or how he is acting, or whatever the case may be.

I must say that I agree with some folks who say that *anyone* would have faced a difficult task coming into office when Obama did. I just totally disagree with how he is handling it and his qualifications to do so.

Alan Keyes is the best!

He tried to tell the people of Illionois this when he ran for Senator but the word communist was substituted for radical.

From the time I saw President BO confront "Joe the Plumber," I knew he sympathized more closely with Communism than Americanism. He is, at the very least, a RADICAL socialist, not sort of socialist leaning, not moderately socialist, RADICAL.

He has ALL of the markings of 90% of all the despots who have come to power throughout history.

The Democrat Congress is complicit with him.

Melonie~ How the heck are ya? ;) "...so now what?" So, now I think we lean on Congress to make sure they don't pass things that will put us beyond the point of no return.

George~ Thanks for coming by! Yes, I've been thinking that for quite some time...Last Fall, to be more exact...Please come back & see us!

Buck~ Right on! I'm w/ ya! Did you see that Bluepit went to one of his seminars? Too cool, huh?

Clay~ Yeah, he says so much, "I told you so; & he tried." He didn't promise no more bills, health care, new cars & filet mignon, though...

Joe~ Absolutely right. When I watched the clip w/ Joe the Plummer, I couldn't believe that BO said what he did, & with such ease. THEN I couldn't believe that people weren't repulsed by it! Geuss it goes back to what George - & Dr. Keyes - said...

Susannah - thanks for telling me about the comments on my blog! I'm only just now getting it up and running and wasn't expecting comments yet so didn't thing anything of it. I may try a few other things but for now it works if you click on comments and then click again on post a comment. Go figure. But again, thank you for letting me know!

"Alan firmly stated that Obama is a radical communist (which he is)"

Keyes is on the fringe to say the least. He "firmly stated"? Whoop-di-doo.

He's a radical communist? Why, because Keyes says he is? Baloney!

And you're a birther, huh? Do you possess YOUR original birth certificate? The original? Anybody who is still on this track is REALLY on the fringe.

Thanks for posting here but it's actually posted in your next post.

Well no wonder I couldn't find it! Thanks for clearing that up, Jim. Can you tell I was a bit distracted this afternoon?

Climbing laundry mountain?

Laundry - yesterday I had no such excuse. Just family stuff. You know: husband, kids, dog, etc.

Now, today is another matter. Have been doing laundry, straightening up after all being home all weekend.

Just about to go run errands, now though, Jim. Going to Whole Foods first. Anything I can get for you while I'm there?
