Voices in the Conversation of our time, and an alternative to standard feminism.
If you haven't gone to part 2, be sure to do so...it's even funnier (if that's possible)!
Hi Susannah, Thanks for following me. I will sure reciprocate. Yes, Duta is wonderful. She's stuck with me thru 3 blog names. Where in the world is Fosco, NC? I'm going to have to look that one up! I wouldn't normally bring this up but since you mentioned it.... check out the Bible study "Attending the Bride of Christ" by Martha Lawley. We did it at our church and my sister-in-law did it at hers in SC and ALL enjoyed it. Maybe it will be one your group may be interested in doing too. It's one that "sticks" with you. Hope you enjoy your vacation!
Joe! I actually started to watch Part 2, but then we had to pack for our trip. Now that we're home, I'll have to hop on over & take a look. Hope all is well where you are, my friend!Lisa! Thanks for stopping by! Duta is a dear, & I'm enjoying getting to know her. She always has an interesting take on things...Thanks for the tip on the Bible Study. A pastor friend of mine & I had quite a discussion a few weeks ago re: how the church body is not 'tending' the Bride as she was meant to be tended...Ms. Lawley's study may well be a timely suggestion.Oh, & Fosco is a blip of a town between Boone & Banner Elk; may as well say Boone, for clarity-sake.Thanks again for coming over. We have some lively discussions here from time to time (eh, Joe?). And Joe's one of my all time favorites! ;) His blog is very inspired; you may want to take a peek @ his writings sometime, too.
I love Bill Cosby! So funny!
susannah, I hope you had a VERY nice vacation!xxx
